Work Experience

When her articles was signed off in 2007, she started working at MWEB in the Billing Department where she stayed for 2 years, carrying out maintenance of their Bank accounts and ensuring that billing of revenue was carried out successfully.

Seeking out a more challenging environment where she could fully utilise the skills learnt as a Trainee Accountant, she took up the position of Assistant Accountant at Commercial Cold Storage Pty Ltd in 2009.

Here, her main focus was analysing expenses and revenue, preparing balance sheet reconciliations, maintaining a fixed asset register as well as preparation of Vat returns for SA and Namibian companies.

In 2013 she took up a new position as Accountant, where the duties changed to reporting consolidated reports for management, managing creditors payments as well as tax submission. On a quarterly basis she prepared and analysed budgets and forecasts, submitting Statistics SA reports and furthermore maintaining the B-BBEE reporting to meet group targets.
